Graham County opened bids for the Main Street building remodel during the Oct. 6 meeting and authorized staff to review bids for compliance with bid documents and award the contract to the lowest conforming bidder.
The clerk or staff read four bids into the record: Lunt Construction, $306,310; Anderson Remodeling LLC, $340,000; BNT Construction, $356,862; and Aztec Contracting LLC, $465,790. The board moved and approved a motion to have staff review the bids for compliance and, if conforming, to award the contract to the lowest conforming bidder.
The board did not make an on-the-spot award; staff review is needed to confirm bidders meet document requirements before the county proceeds to contract.
