An Entertainment Commission inspector issued a notice of violation to Teeth, a venue at 2323 Mission St., after responding to a complaint on Sept. 14 and measuring outdoor sound levels above the approved outdoor threshold.

Senior inspector testimony at the Oct. 7 meeting said an inspector measured a DJ performing on the patio at 92.7 dBA and 103.1 dBC while the approved outdoor sound limit was 88 dBA and 95 dBC. Inspector Adams reported that, after speaking with management, the venue brought levels into compliance quickly and that the commission issued a notice of violation for exceeding the approved limit.

Staff did not recommend further action at the hearing but recorded the violation in the commission’s enforcement file.
