Board renews Motorola CallWorks maintenance for 911 system for 2025–2026

Kootenai County commissioners on Oct. 7 approved a one-year renewal of the Motorola Solutions CallWorks maintenance agreement for the county’s 911 call‑taking and administrative systems.
Lieutenant Jeff Howard described CallWorks as the program used to receive 911 and administrative calls and said the renewal covers ongoing maintenance for that system. The agreement covers the 12‑month period from Oct. 1, 2025, through Sept. 30, 2026.
The motion to renew the agreement passed unanimously with aye votes recorded by Commissioner Abernathy, Commissioner Duncan and Chair Chaney.
