Commissioners reallocate remaining ARPA funds to Boughton Construction for Justice Building expansion

Smith said the remaining ARPA allocation can be spent under the Boughton contract rather than returned to the funding source.
The motion to reallocate the funds passed unanimously; recorded aye votes included Commissioner Evelyn, Commissioner Duncan and the chair.
Staff did not state the exact dollar amount of the remaining funds at the meeting; the board approved the reallocation to permit continued work and use of ARPA dollars on the Justice Building expansion.
