Board considers policy change to organizational chart to list titles not names
Summary
A first reading of policy CCA would remove employee names from the district organizational chart in favor of titles to reduce frequent policy updates; trustees asked staff to provide a single website location listing current title‑holders for public reference.

Tiffany Rogers, chief resource officer, presented a first reading of a revision to policy CCA that replaces named individuals on the district organizational chart with job titles. Rogers said listing names in policy makes it hard to maintain when staff move or roles change; the proposed redline removes names and retains title‑level structure.
A trustee supported the title-only version but asked that the district publish a single web location where the public could find the current nameholder for each title (for example, who currently fills special‑education director). Rogers said department pages generally list current staff and agreed to research a single consolidated public staff directory or a header page linking to department lists.
No final board action occurred at the first reading; staff will prepare the final redline for the next meeting.
