Councilman Boswell moved to approve the application; Councilman Mapp seconded the motion and the council approved it by voice vote.
The council recorded no discussion of conditions, restrictions or objections in the transcript. The mayor described the approval as “in so far as the city is concerned,” noting the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board process governs the final licensing step.
