The Saginaw County Board of Commissioners authorized two personnel hires during the meeting: Maureen Snyder for probate clerk and Mark Imbauer for the new community navigator position.

Maureen Snyder, who previously worked in the county from 2013 to 2017 and clerked for a Florida superior court judge, was authorized to return to the county as probate clerk effective mid-August 2025. County staff said Snyder has prior experience with the probate process and guardianship work; the board moved and seconded the motion and voted in favor.

The board also authorized hiring Mark Imbauer as the county's community navigator, a role described as starting in late August 2025 with the exact start date to be determined. The administration said Imbauer currently serves as a community navigator in Lincoln County and had prior positive references; the hiring committee interviewed four applicants for the role. The motion to hire Imbauer passed.

Meeting minutes show the probate vacancy was advertised and attracted no other applicants during the two-week posting period. Commissioners asked that personnel files and standard exit procedures had been handled for the departing staff member in the probate office.
