Parks staff reported that the city received a Metroplan CPRG grant providing $1.2 million for the Rose Creek Trail project and said the city’s matching contribution for the project is $300,000. The board moved the related consent item so staff may begin right-of-way and easement acquisitions required for trail construction. "This resolution is just to allow us to start looking at right-of-way and easement acquisitions for that project," the parks presenter said. The board moved the item on the consent agenda to allow work to begin; staff will return with contract documents and property-level details as acquisitions proceed.
