East Sycamore (COA 250096549): The commission approved a post‑construction review of a chicken coop built in 2021 with the condition that the coop’s overall height be reduced to align with the adjacent east wall height. Staff had recommended reducing the height because the coop exceeded the surrounding yard walls; commissioners noted historical precedent for small poultry structures in the neighborhood and several members said the coop’s open, airy design reduced visual impact.

92925 South Roselle (COA 2500976925): For a property with fire damage the applicant proposed replacing siding, roof and gutters. Commissioners noted some windows appear missing or irreparably damaged after firefighting and requested an inventory and repair assessment so staff can approve repairs where appropriate and identify windows that require replacement.

80 East Williams (COA 2500988) — proposed standing‑seam metal on a lower dormer: The commission continued the application so the applicant can provide options (either replace the entire lower addition roof in metal at an appropriate gauge and extent, or revise to use approved shingles) and to confirm material gauge, color and full extent of work.

Other items: several other COAs were continued or approved with minor conditions; staff will follow up on compliance and documentation. Where commissioners asked for revised drawings or tests, staff will undertake those reviews and contact applicants with next steps.
