The Park Board on Wednesday approved tree removal requests submitted by the City’s Tree and Cemeteries Division for several private addresses and authorized removal of six trees at North Park near the new ice rink.

Parks staff said an on-site inspection with the department’s tree crew confirmed the six trees adjacent to the ice rink are ready for removal. Commissioners voted to approve the removals after staff recommendations; no appeals or public objections were raised at the meeting.

Board motions to approve the listed private-address tree removals and the North Park removals passed on voice votes. Parks staff will schedule the tree work and handle required disposal or stump removal per departmental practice.
