Relay For Life Sierra Vista will take place Saturday, Oct. 25 from 2–10 p.m. at City Park, organizers said. The event is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and a community celebration of cancer survivors and caregivers.

Janet, a Sierra Vista Lions Club volunteer and event leadership team member, said the day is intended as “a celebration of our survivors” and a place for people newly diagnosed or caring for patients to connect with peer resources. The event will include raffles, children’s activities and a veteran-group-run children’s corner, she said.

Sheriff Mark Daniels was announced as the event MC. Organizers encouraged teams and individuals to register online via the Relay For Life Sierra Vista page or to attend and donate at the park.
