Commission approves $49,089 change order to add construction services for chiller project

The Board of Commissioners approved a $49,089 change order on Oct. 6 to add construction management services to Tekton's contract for a county chiller project.

County maintenance staff said Tekton was originally engaged for both bid and design work; the project received favorable bids and the change order adds the construction services component so Tekton will manage the construction process. “This is adding the construction services component to this, as they will manage the construction process as well,” a commissioner summarized.
