The Peabody Planning Board unanimously approved the minutes of its Sept. 18 meeting and signed the board-approved amended zoning map dated Dec. 12, 2024, during its Oct. 2 meeting at Peabody City Hall.

A board member moved to accept the minutes of the Sept. 18 meeting; the motion was seconded by Dr. Otto and approved by voice vote. Later in the meeting the chair asked members to "line up to sign" the amended zoning map; an 11-by-17 copy was provided for signatures.

These were procedural actions: the minutes approval was a formal vote recorded as passed; the map signing was an administrative act to complete an earlier board-approved amendment (Dec. 12, 2024) and no separate vote was taken at the Oct. 2 meeting.

The board then moved to adjourn and voted unanimously to end the meeting.
