The Spalding County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved a series of routine grant, maintenance and infrastructure items during its June meeting.

Approved items included a juvenile-justice incentive grant contract revision, a Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant (LMIG) award for East McIntosh Road improvements, and a request from the Georgia Department of Transportation for a $100,000 county match to replace a bridge on Manly Road. The board also approved resurfacing of Janet and Swint (reported as "Janet And Sweat" in the transcript) Roads in Orchard Hill using funds from the 2022 T-SPLOST referendum and declared certain county vehicles and equipment as surplus, with sale proceeds to be deposited into the general fund.

Board members recorded 5-0 votes on each item after staff presentations by Public Works Director TJ Imburger and Grants Manager Larry Wallace in the preceding workshop session.
