The Corinth City Council approved renewal of a contract with Shields Engineering PLLC for engineering plan‑review services in the amount of $200,000 and authorized the city manager to execute necessary documents.

Melissa Daley said the firm provides third‑party plan review primarily for development projects and that the $200,000 amount matches the previous year’s contract. “We do recuperate over 90% of those fees, as we invoice the developers for any fees relating to their plan review,” Daley said. She told the council the contract amount was included in the adopted budget.

The council approved the renewal with no amendments recorded in the meeting transcript.
