City, consultant Horrocks continue work on Discovery pickleball courts; warranty extension acknowledged

They sent us an email yesterday with some potential solutions. We just haven't had a chance yet internally to discuss what that looks like,” a staff member said. Parks and other staff also noted that a formal acknowledgment was received that the warranty would be extended; the warranty had expired on Oct. 1. City staff did not provide final technical details during the meeting and said further analysis and internal discussion are needed before any final remedy is chosen. No formal council action was taken during the update. The council asked staff to continue pursuing a resolution and to return with recommendations once Horrocks’ solutions have been reviewed.
