The Board on Oct. 7 approved a first amendment extending the term of an agreement with Sierra Foothill Conservancy by one year and three months to continue repair and restoration activities along the Mariposa Creek Parkway.

Supervisor Manatray recognized the conservancy’s role in acquiring the parkway property in 2019 and praised the partnership on trail planning and restoration work. The amendment authorizes the Board Chair to sign; staff said the extension is intended to maintain momentum on parkway planning and construction tasks.

The consent agenda item passed without objection as part of the full consent package.
