Resident, Presenter, reported that crews are redoing a sidewalk near Latimer and have installed tactile detectable paving and new concrete; the existing asphalt path remains in place next to the new concrete.

The presenter said workers added tactile features (the presenter used the term “tactile” when describing the detectable surface) and are using a temporary path while the new concrete cures. No contractor, ADA compliance document or permit was cited during the recording.

Pedestrians were asked to use the temporary path until curing is complete to avoid damaging the new concrete, the presenter said.
