Council approves consent agenda; denies claim of Christopher Sutton and tables downtown solid waste item

That motion was seconded and the chair announced the motion carried. Later in the consent discussion, the council also voted to table agenda item 20250760 concerning the downtown solid waste management district service; the councilmember who moved to table the item noted that it would return to committee.
Mayor Pro Tem Johnny Walker led the consent agenda roll call. After staff identified additional consent changes (including items related to 462 and 480 Roswell Street being added to consent), a councilmember moved to approve the consent agenda, a second was made, and the chair announced the consent agenda was approved seven-zero.
The consent vote bundled multiple ministerial and administrative items for a single vote; items removed from consent or specifically called out by councilmembers would receive separate consideration in future meetings as needed.
