Community Development Director Asha Ahmed introduced the study session and said staff is seeking early input before drafting the specific plan and returning to both the Planning Commission and City Council for adoption hearings. The plan area covers about 244 acres generally bounded by Dela Cruz Boulevard, Reed Street, Martin Avenue, Franklin Street and El Camino Real and includes the existing Caltrain/ACE/Amtrak station and the Valley Transportation Authority’s future BART Phase 2 terminus.
