City manager reports potential JCPenney building reuse and names interim finance director

Nicole also told the council that the city’s audit is underway and that Brianna (last name not given), who stepped into the finance role on an interim basis after the prior director’s May departure, had completed much of the audit work. Nicole said she has formally acknowledged Brianna’s role as finance director for the interim period while the audit proceeds.
Nicole said she will be on vacation next week and that Chelsea will be the council’s point of contact in her absence.
