Kelly O'Donnell, director of Columbia County Community Justice, asked the board to open recruitment and fill a 0.35 full-time-equivalent work crew supervisor position for the department’s adult division.

O'Donnell told commissioners the position is budgeted and does not use general fund dollars; the job will be paid from program fees and grants. A board member moved to open the recruitment; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.

The board recorded that the position was budgeted and that hiring would proceed under the county’s personnel rules. No additional budget appropriation was requested at the meeting.
