Belleville aldermen on Oct. 6 approved a one-year contract for Vector Solutions Premium Software for the fire department at $1,552.29 and authorized an intergovernmental agreement between the Belleville Police Department and the St. Clair County Housing Authority for video integration and archival services.
Alderman Anthony presented the Police and Fire Committee's motions and moved them as a group. The council approved both motions by roll call vote.
The Vector Solutions contract was listed with a Nov. 30, 2025 start date in the committee motion. The police-housing authority agreement did not include financial details in the council motion as read; the measure was described as a video integration and archive agreement.
No council member requested additional detail about software procurement, data retention or integration protocols during the meeting; staff follow-up would be required to provide contract terms, privacy or data-retention language and any ongoing costs.
