The applicant (representing the DeWitt project) returned to the board to present requested architectural renderings and to update the board on environmental record checks. The applicant said he searched the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) website and provided documentation to planning staff showing the underground storage tanks had been removed and that there are no active open spill numbers for the site.
The board took the presentation as a courtesy update; the applicant said he was proceeding under a tight due-diligence deadline and that the next steps would include addressing outstanding engineering comments. No formal action was taken at the hearing; the board will consider the project again at a future meeting when outstanding reviews are complete.
