Scholarship committee to meet soon to allocate funds; trustees will vote on awards

Trustees were briefed that the scholarship committee has not yet completed its work and will reconvene to finalize award amounts from funds already allocated.

The chair said the scholarship committee met once but has not met since the finance committee review. "We have money we've got to distribute," the chair said, and she confirmed the committee will reconvene "shortly" to set award amounts and then bring recommendations to the trustees for a board vote.

No formal motion or vote occurred at the meeting. The trustees set a next step for the scholarship committee to meet, finalize allocations, and put the recommendations before the board for approval.
