Livingston County approves multiple contracts and purchases for nursing, health and social services

The Livingston County Board of Supervisors approved a series of resolutions authorizing contracts, grant awards and purchases for the county's health, nursing and social services operations. The actions were moved largely by county staff and adopted by unanimous consent.
Miss Walker moved resolutions authorizing the chairman to sign contracts for the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation with Ray Vance LLC (doing business as Special Care Systems) and Worldwide Staffing Limited, and to award bid number 202529 to Mantis Medical Equipment Services LLC for 25 portable ceiling lifts. "Awarding bid and authorizing the purchase of 25 portable ceiling lifts for the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation," the clerk recorded during roll call.
The board also authorized contracts for the Department of Health with C and F Transportation Inc, Excellus Health Plan Inc and Foster Martin Inc, and established a department hospice rate schedule effective Oct. 1, 2025. The board approved a grant award contract for Health Research Inc and authorized a Department of Social Services contract with Catholic Charities, Steuben-Livingston.
The county approved Office for the Aging contracts including Boyd and Parker VFW Post Corp 547, Case Based Care Solutions LLC (d/b/a Senior Helpers of South Rochester) and the Village of Avon; and authorized community services block grant professional services contracts with Catholic Charities, DuBois-Livingston (Geneseo Parish Outreach Center Inc), Chances and Changes Inc, and UR Medicine/Nicholas Noyes Memorial Hospital (Livingston Health Systems). Several of the items carried bid or contract identifiers the clerk recorded during roll call.
Board members did not debate the merits of individual contracts at length during the meeting; most items were presented, moved for unanimous consent and adopted on roll call.
