City honors SUSAN network after Early Intervention and Holistic Wellness award

The council said the program both makes referrals and helps clients access payments and community providers.
City presenters credited the award to the department’s coordination across agencies and volunteers, and said the program helps people access treatment and other supports more efficiently. The recognition noted the department’s role in linking clients to services and reducing barriers to care.
The presentation was ceremonial; speakers did not announce additional city funding or policy changes tied to the award. Council members urged continued public awareness of available services and thanked staff for their work connecting residents to treatment and recovery resources.
