At its Oct. 6 meeting the Gurney Village Board approved the consent agenda that included two engineering contract awards, a payroll payment and approval of bills.
The board approved awarding the Almond Road pedestrian crossing rectangular rapid flashing beacons project to the low bidder, Powerlink Electric, at a cost of $29,143.56. The board also approved awarding the fiscal year 2026 miscellaneous drainage projects to low bidder Campanella and Sons Inc. at a cost of $99,665, as recommended by the engineering division.
The board approved payroll for the period ending Sept. 19, 2025, in the amount of $1,122,912.17 and approved bills for the period ending Oct. 6, 2025, in the amount of $2,179,700.46. A motion to approve the consent agenda was made and seconded; roll call recorded O'Brien — aye; Thomas — aye; Thorsonson — yes; Ross — aye and the motion carried.
No petitions, communications or public objections to the consent items were recorded during the meeting.
