Commissioners schedule bid opening Oct. 22 for Silver Lake industrial water system improvements

On Oct. 8, 2025, Mark Neary, Butte-Silver Bow public works director, requested the council schedule a bid opening for the Silver Lake industrial water system improvement project on Oct. 22. The commission recorded the communication and said it would continue to hold the item in abeyance pending the Oct. 22 bid opening.

The Oct. 8 transcript shows no formal vote on the project at that meeting and no technical details of the project were presented in the Oct. 8 agenda item. The item will return to the commission following the scheduled bid opening for any further action, staff said.
