Assessor says tax roll certification due Oct. 25; county to consider BAFTA petition fee and passport-photo fee

He said the office expected to complete certification and pass records to the tax collector so statements can be printed and mailed.
Ray said he would ask the commissioners later in the month to sign an order approving a newly constituted Property Value Appeal Board (BAFTA) and to approve a $35 fee for BAFTA petitions. He also said the office plans to install passport‑photo equipment and will propose an associated fee for passport photos when the equipment is in place.
