Tony Anderson, Buildings and Grounds director, asked the Board to fund up to $25,000 from Fund 311 to reconfigure the county’s Buildings and Grounds and Fairgrounds office spaces. He said the OSU nutrition‑services manufactured home at the fairgrounds recently became available and would serve as a better office, break room and storage location for parts and vehicles.
Tony told the Board the work would include replacing worn carpeting with laminate for easier cleanup, installing temporary fencing and creating a gravel area for vehicle staging. He said moving inventory and creating small offices for maintenance staff would centralize supervision and reduce cross‑traffic across the road. Commissioners approved the request by voice vote and directed staff to proceed with the work and report back on construction and use.
