Commissioners accept public road work for Greenery Residential and release construction bond

The Delaware County Board of Commissioners accepted improvements July 14 for the Greenery Residential rental community in Berlin Township and approved the release of the construction bond for work within the Shanahan Road public right-of-way.
Rob Riley, Chief Deputy Engineer, told commissioners the Greenery project completed work within the public right-of-way on Shanahan Road; county inspection found the work acceptable and staff recommended the board accept the improvements and release the construction bond (resolution 25-517). Commissioners voted aye to approve the acceptance.
Riley said the development is a new rental community on the north side of Shanahan Road and described the inspection process as routine; acceptance allows the county to take the improvements into the public system and release the developer’s bond.
