Commissioners approve owner’s agreement for Del Webb Northstar Section 1 as large active-adult community advances

The Delaware County Board of Commissioners on July 14 approved an owner’s agreement for Del Webb Northstar Section 1 (Phase A and B) allowing the developer to install and dedicate public street and drainage improvements for the first large section of the community.
Rob Riley, Chief Deputy Engineer, said Del Webb’s Northstar development is one of the county’s largest active‑adult communities; at buildout the project will comprise more than 500 lots, and the first section contains “about 150 plus, homes.” Riley recommended approval of the standard owner’s agreement to accept streets and public drainage improvements and to release construction bonds once work is acceptable.
Commissioners approved the owner’s agreement (resolution 25-518) with both commissioners present voting aye. County staff said the developer — identified in discussion as the Pulte Group working on Del Webb product — is moving quickly on the project and that the county’s typical inspection and acceptance processes apply.
