The RSU 52/MSAD 52 school board unanimously approved using the district’s Capital Repair Reserve Fund to cover an additional $7,220 for a deeper well drilled at Turner Primary School, board members voted on Sept. 11.
Ashley (finance committee) explained the original vendor quote called for drilling to 350 feet at a cost of $18,400, but crews drilled to 600 feet and the final invoice increased by $7,220. The board moved and approved the payment; the vote was recorded as unanimous.
