Daggett County Municipal Building Authority members heard on Oct. 7 that the new water treatment plant’s roof is in place and interior work is underway, with garage doors still to be installed before equipment is moved in. "The roof is on, and they're getting ready to and they've done work on the inside. They're waiting for their, yeah, garage doors to be added, and they're getting ready to move equipment in," said Authority member 2.
The update was given during the authority’s regular meeting; no formal action was taken on the water treatment plant during the session. Authority member 1 asked for the update as part of the meeting’s issue-updates agenda item, and the member’s description indicated contractors are progressing on interior work but are awaiting the garage door installation to proceed with equipment transfer.
No timeline or budget figures were provided during the remarks, and no change orders or approvals related to the water treatment plant were presented at the Oct. 7 meeting. The authority moved on to other agenda items after the update.
