The Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee voted Wednesday to submit its 2026 Public Housing Agency annual plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, a required HUD template that summarizes HACM’s programs, estimated financial resources and proposed activities for 2026.
Ken Barbot, HACM acting secretary and executive director, told commissioners that the draft plan incorporates revisions to the admissions and continued occupancy policy and the Section 8 administrative plan to align HACM procedures with recent HUD notices and guidance. He said the Resident Advisory Board reviewed drafts at meetings in July and provided comments that were included with the agency submission.
