Committee chair Heather L. Kimball said the ad hoc committeecompleted a report of recommendations on streamlining the 2025–26 application and review process; the communication is on the public record. The committee voted 8–0 to close the file rather than discuss the substance of the report at this hearing; Councilmember Ashley Kirkwitz was excused.
Committee members said the report contains recommendations to streamline application and scoring procedures. Councilmember Eustace said he appreciated the recommendations on streamlining both the applicant and scoring sides of the process. Kimball suggested that staff member Jessica Valdez could do outreach to the nonprofit community to summarize the ad hoc committeefindings.
