The planning board granted a continuance to November for the application by CGI Middletown LLC for combined preliminary and final plan approval of a proposed approximately 1,940-square-foot bank with a drive-through at 1400 West Main Road.

Dave Taglienetti of the Capinato Group told the board the project, a small BayCoast Bank outpost, has plans and elevations ready for design and permitting but the lease with BayCoast had lapsed and the applicant is negotiating a lease amendment to obtain new delivery and construction dates. Taglienetti said the applicant wants to proceed with design and permitting now but is not yet ready to start construction.

The applicant asked for a continuance to the November meeting to allow the applicant to appear before the technical review committee and to return with updated lease and construction timing. A motion to continue the item to November was made, seconded, and passed on voice vote with the chair voting aye.
