Planning commission continues rezone request to Nov. 13

A commissioner moved to continue the item to Nov. 13 and another commissioner seconded the motion. The commission voted in favor and the continuance was approved.
Later in the meeting staff confirmed the Symphony Homes rezone will be back on the Nov. 13 agenda; staff said the item was not ready for action at the Oct. 9 meeting because there were "a lot of moving pieces." No public comment on the continuance was recorded in the meeting minutes.
There were no motions or votes to alter the substance of the rezone at the Oct. 9 meeting; the continuance schedules the item for fuller consideration on Nov. 13 and preserves the commission's ability to take action at that later meeting.
