District says FMX maintenance system logged 63 work orders; 13 in progress

The update matters because the FMX system is the district’s new workflow tool for tracking maintenance requests and work orders across facilities; staff said the system is intended to centralize and make visible maintenance needs.
Tom White (staff), speaking for facilities, said the district has been tracking all work orders through the FMX system since gaining access and reported 63 work orders opened, with 13 remaining in progress as of Oct. 1. White praised facilities staff Chuck Culberson and Darlin Hatrick for handling the work: “They've been really working to get a stuff and run-in this school year,” he said.
Board members asked a procedural question about collision repair work; White said the construction-trades instructor, Matt Crater, has been working on collision repair and progress has been “amazing,” and that necessary supplies are on hand. The exchange was part of the informational treasurer/facilities report; the board did not take separate formal action on the report.
The board received the facilities update for information and moved on to other agenda items.
