Math received more instructional time: Endicott said the school adjusted math from a 45-minute block to a 75-minute block to support small-group practice and use of the ReadyMath curriculum. He described peer walk-throughs, building leadership teams and ongoing professional development as part of a continuous-improvement cycle.
Community and extracurricular updates: Endicott announced the school’s third-annual Reading Under the Lights event at Champion Car Wash Field, with pizza and student-athlete volunteers, and described playground fundraising efforts aiming to purchase new structures (each roughly $50,000). He said Sunny Slope has raised about $25,000 toward playground upgrades and listed upcoming fundraisers such as a jog-a-thon and Penny Wars.
