County solicitor previews 31 resolutions, requests executive session on contract negotiations

County Solicitor Roberts told the Beaver County Board of Commissioners on Oct. 8 that 31 resolutions were scheduled for the next day's agenda and highlighted several that commissioners should note.

Roberts identified resolution No. 5 as a paving program in Rochester Township, No. 24 as a new food services agreement for the county jail, and No. 26 as a contract allowing use of the courthouse for a television production. He said the county had accommodated filming at the courthouse and that the production was in progress.

Roberts asked the board to enter an executive session during the meeting to discuss contract negotiations. No votes or formal actions on the listed resolutions were taken at the Oct. 8 work session; Roberts presented the items as upcoming agenda matters to be considered on Oct. 9.
