The Nevada City Council approved amendments and professional‑services agreements tied to SRF‑sponsored water and infrastructure projects and moved a small change order for a trail project.
Council approved an amendment to HR Green’s professional services for SRF projects A and B in an amount not to exceed $11,200, and separately approved a professional‑services agreement for SRF project E (amount stated in the meeting record was garbled and not repeated). The council also approved a change order No. 1 for the Oak Park Estate Trail from Mid State Solutions in the amount of $5,800.
City staff and the city engineer reported that recent heavy rain has delayed SRF‑funded construction work and that two SRF projects are close to completion but may require schedule extensions; project A has about 400 feet remaining near Billy Sunday Field and project B is nearing a trailhead off Lincoln Highway. The engineer said the deadline for current work is the end of the week and that staff expect to request extensions for both projects at the next council meeting in September.
The actions were taken during the consent and regular agenda; motions to approve the agreements and change order were seconded and recorded as approved. No member of the council requested holding any of these items for separate discussion at this meeting.
The council approved an annual renewal work order for HR Green for GIS services on the consent agenda as well.
