The Planning and Zoning Commission met Sept. 10 and recommended approval on four land-use requests, each by 7-0 votes, a commission member reported at the Sept. 15 Cape Girardeau City Council meeting.
"First of these being 815 Themis Street rezoning," said the commission's spokesman, identifying the site between Pacific and Ella Streets and saying the application requested a rezoning from "see 1 general commercial to r u n d residential urban mixed entity" with a recommendation for approval. "Recommendation is for approval with the 7 in favor 0 in opposition on this 1," he said.
