Pullman School Board elects Aaron Carter president and Lisa Jones vice president

Board Secretary Amanda Tanner called the roll for the president vote after nominations; Tanner nominated Aaron Carter under the board's rotation policy (Board Policy 12.10). The roll call recorded Aye votes from Amanda Tanner, Aaron Carter, Lisa Jones and Craig; the board announced the roll call confirmed Director Aaron Carter as the new board president.
After the presidency vote the board immediately opened nominations for vice president. Director Lisa Jones was nominated and confirmed by roll call. The board then rearranged seating at the dais so officers and directors occupied their new rotation positions; board members characterized the movement jokingly as "musical chairs." President Carter thanked outgoing officers for their service and acknowledged the time commitment of the officer roles.
The board cited Board Policy 12.10 as the governing procedure for officer rotation and noted the election was conducted by roll call as the policy requires. No dissenting votes were recorded on the roll calls reported in the meeting.
