Council reappoints Richard Meridian to Petoskey Planning Commission for three‑year term

Petoskey City Council unanimously reappointed Richard Meridian to a three‑year term on the Planning Commission.

Councilmember Walker moved to reappoint Meridian and Councilmember Demore seconded the motion. Clerk Sarah Beck conducted the roll call; Councilmembers Walker, Demore, Shields and Mayor John Murphy voted in favor.

Council acknowledged Meridian's experience; staff said he has lived in Petoskey for 23 years. No discussion or public comment was recorded on the appointment.
