Council agrees to re-advertise pool project with shortened notice to speed CDBG-DR procurement

Council members voiced no objections. Town Attorney Nancy Stuparich said she preferred to work with staff on legal details but expressed no opposition if procurement staff confirmed there would be no legal challenges. Councilor John King said he had no issue. The council gave staff direction to proceed with re-advertising under the shortened period and to coordinate final legal and procurement details with the town attorney.
This was a direction to staff, not a formal ordinance or contract approval. Staff will re-advertise the pool project and return to council if procurement rules or HUD requirements later require a different course of action.
