The amendments (resolutions 25‑247, 25‑248 and 25‑249) do not change the grant dollar amounts or the projects themselves, town staff said; rather, they replace references to interim town staff and change the town mailing address to 6231 Estero Boulevard so county grant documents match the town’s current staffing and record‑keeping.
Community Development and project staff briefed council that the North Water Tower project had been in the grant bundle since the county‑managed CDBG‑DR application process and that changes are administrative: “All you’re saying is it’s gonna change to Joe’s name versus…” one councilor said during the meeting, and staff confirmed the amendments primarily update the designated grant point‑of‑contact and the address on file.
Why it matters: the amendments tidy grant paperwork and clear the way for the county and the town to move forward with procurement and project phases, town staff said.
