A second project (Prairie Hill / job order 18344) involves rebuilding overhead to underground lines where backyard installation and tree trimming complicate overhead service; staff said Prairie Hill was not in the original budget while Tamarac was, at a lower budgeted amount. The third item, job order 18361 (Eagle Road), was described as an overhead rebuild tied to a customer line extension; staff said the total job order amount was given in the packet and Marshfield Utilities’ portion was about $29,000, with funds available after a prior reallocation on Elm Road.
A commissioner moved to approve the job orders; the motion was seconded by Commissioner Nick. The chair called for a voice vote and the motion carried by voice vote with all in favor. Staff said cost allocations to property owners and the utility will be recorded in project accounting and future packets will reflect final reallocations and any budget adjustments.
