The Village of Weston Planning Commission and its Extraterritorial Zoning Committee voted Monday to adopt the 2025 official zoning map and the 2025 extraterritorial zoning map.
Staff told the bodies the maps are an annual housekeeping item that reproduce current zoning boundaries and that no changes had been made since the previous year. Staff recommended approval for both the Planning Commission and the ETZ committee.
The public hearing produced no comments. Planning Commission member Deason moved to approve the map as presented; Gerent seconded and the motion carried with all members saying "Aye." The ETZ committee followed with a separate motion and also carried the recommendation to the Board of Trustees.
The adopted maps will serve as the official reference for zoning questions and future land-use applications in the village and its extraterritorial area. Staff said large printed maps will be produced for office use.
